I'm Jerome Tavé, a French/American designer currently working at RKS Design. First, a brief timeline of where I come from / where I am now:




Background:
I've lived in Paris, Dubai, Savannah, and am currently living in Los Angeles. It is from the world that surrounds me that I continually build my creative energy, collection of travel memories, friendships and lessons in adaptation. Experiencing wealth and poverty, absolute monarchy and democracy, social concerns and world conflict first hand, my vision is continually elevated to new horizons.

Vision:
I hope to add meaning to design by strategically placing products into contexts and creating intelligent, sustainable environments for people to operate within. I also hope to play an integral part in changing the current model of ownership to one centered around access, through the creation of better services.

I love:
Bicycles, doing triathlons, tinkering, playing drums, making things, writing for and contributing to FYSD (a service design blog), listening to music and going to shows, taking photos (flickr), making videos, being outside, questioning the status quo, learning, exploring, discovering.
